Monette King | 4th Grade Teacher

Sunnymead Elementary School

Monette King is an amazing educator. She regularly challenges her students
academically while also focusing on their social emotional needs. In addition to focusing
on the individual needs of students in the classroom, Monette also supports students
outside the classroom. She organizes engaging activities for Sunnymead students to
ensure that all students have the opportunity to be involved in school activities. Her
passion for students and dedication to the school are as strong now as they were when
she started teaching at Sunnymead Elementary 26 years ago. With all she does, Monette
still finds the time to be involved in various site committees and is loved as much by our
staff as she is by our students.
