Hello Sunnymead Families! My name is Ambra Dodds-Main and I am delighted to be the new Principal at Sunnymead Elementary School. This is my 21st year of working in education. I have taught first grade, third grade, and fifth grade. In addition, I served as a Teacher on Special Assignment for three years before joining MVUSD in 2018. Prior to coming to Sunnymead, I worked as an Assistant Administrator of Instructional Improvement and Academic Coaching at Butterfield Elementary School for two years.

In addition to my work experience, I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, a Master's Degree in Reading Education, and a Doctorate Degree in Organizational Leadership. I feel fortunate to have received a wealth of knowledge to help prepare me for serving our students, families, and staff here at Sunnymead. I have met many of our families during Grab & Go and while providing support with Distance Learning, and I look forward to meeting all of our students and families in person when we return to on-campus learning.
